Congratulations FCCLA!

Congratulations to FCCLA members for their successes at State FCCLA Conferences!
Justin Thorne ran for the State Peer Family Leaders team. He had a very successful bid for office, but did not make the state team.

Whitney Parker was a candidate for the State Officer Team. Whitney now is the STATE FCCLA 1st Vice President.

Tara Stelling has served as the STATE FCCLA 1st Vice President of Development for the past year. Tara was one that ran the state conference in Lincoln. Tara also ran for National Office Candidate who would represent Nebraska in San Diego this summer. Tara was chosen as a Nebraska candidate for National Office Team.  She will compete for a position in San Diego in July.

Fernando Dominguez completed an online National STAR project, “Digital Stories for Change”. Fernando’s project was selected as one of the top 15 projects in the nation. Fernando will be traveling to San Diego to present his project this summer.

Congratulations to the following members who competed at State FCCLA STAR:
Jillian Karl and Makenna Todd - Focus on Children, Sr. Silver medal
Ashley Robinson and Rachelle Rice - National Programs in Action, Sr. Silver medal
Sarah Sullivan and Angelica Stiles - Illustrated Talk, Jr. Silver medal

Receiving a gold medal at Districts but not qualifying for State was Mariah Valquier and Miranda McCord - Illustrated Talk, Sr.
