This weekend the Nebraska City High School speech team travelled to the Lincoln Northeast speech meet, and the following students earned medals: Ellie Higgins won impromptu speaking for the meet, was runner-up in humorous prose, and placed fourth overall in serious prose. Additionally, Lillian Frields and Christian Tietz placed 4th overall in duet acting at the meet, and Sarah Murray and Kelly Gonzalez placed 18th overall in duet acting.
